Till date my observation is that only male genders have stammering problem. I have never seen any female who is having stammering problem. What is the reason behind this? I have read that there are many fantastic personalities in history who were stammerers, all male gender. If stammering is in females as well, can anyone mention name? Most of the times male try to show that they are emotionally strong, is stammering related to that mental state (i mean since childhood remarks are passed, “you are boy, you have to be strong…”)? Does anyone know the real cause? And possible cure. Thank and God bless!

As a Brazilian native, I’d translate that as “Ela me mostrou a diferença entre uma menina e uma mulher”.

For me it is England. I emigrated to Australia many years ago from England and have only since dated and now live with Australian women. I used to find English women “Up themselves”.

I know i’m not the only one going through this but this attitude towards smaller sized women and girls is immature. I just don’t understand can someone please educate me here what the heck is going on? Is there a psychological explanation? Most of the hate is coming from “real women and girls” or “curvy” women basically women and girls of larger sizes and frames. If you “real gals” claim males prefer you better then WHY IS IT A BIG DEAL to make national “real women” campaigns. You say it all the time how us skinny girls are disgusting looking, or just downright unattractive so why the hell make it a national year-long 24/7 holiday to aid those who are starving themselves to lose weight, complain about clothes not fitting, and other nonsense? Am I the only one who sees this?
I can’t walk at least 5 miles out of my house without having larger oh im sorry “curvaceous real woman” look at me like I just shot their mother or the president! Everywhere I go in my life throughout pretty much from past to present someone is always making a skinny joke, comment or serious questions:
” Do you eat?” “Are you sick?” “Do you like meat?” “How much do you weigh? like this book right here?” “Is your parents skinny too?” “Do you starve yourself?” “Do you throw up your food?” “Why are you so small boned”? “Why are you so skinny?”
Everything about my body size to people of all ages are COMPLETELY over-exaggerated! And its even worse when you live in the black community!! Black boys usually go after those chunky, booty clapping-(literally), jelly rolled, skanky, 3x bigger than they are whores! >(
And there is also a huge outbreak complaint amongst “real women and girls” about clothes not fitting. That’s not right!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Okay if you’re huge as the sun obviously you’re going to have a hard time finding clothes I can know that but there isn’t many small sizes in certain stores where I live. In this day and age people are broadcasting “scientific research surveys” about “curvier women” giving birth to smarter children, or curvier women are smarter in general etc.. Skinny girls are now becoming the “dumb Blondes” stereotype.This really takes a shot at my self-esteem. Ive been insecure Pretty much my whole life now and people want to place up the cliche overrated hypocrite golden rule “Confidence is the key” that’s completely untrue!!!! Ive had strangers come up to me and question rude personal questions or walk past me and say something humiliating under their breath, or out loud in front of a crowd of people and everyone starts to stare! Blood relatives and god relatives (god sisters) say things like “you need to eat a bucket of chicken”(OMG i like chicken they don’t get it) or “you need to gain weight” (as if I don’t know that!) or the cruelest of all “boys won’t be attracted to you.”
Ive even had friends constantly annoy me on my size and when I tell them it irritates me they have the audacity to say im “taking it to personally”, or “i’m just joking”
Okay so i’m going to be honest.. yes it does seem that guys would most likely go after girls with more chunks to “grab”so.. why are real women and girls being hypocrites and making it seem as if its the opposite?THAT’S CONTRADICTORY!!!!!! There a stupid stereotype that us skinny women and girls reckon were better! That’s the complete opposite 100%! The so called real women are the ones who are stuck up bitchy obnoxious and conceited! I don’t want to generalize but that’s the hideous truth!

I reckon its excellent to have both in a childs life. But if the only male (or female for that matter) is abusive or unfit it is better to be with only one sex to care for him. So, the reason I question is because I was watching this show today on how girls in Europe are also being influenced by the whole “Paris Hilton”, “Kardashian” it-girl type of behavior. Only these girls are not heiresses, but rather young girls who choose to date older wealthy men in hopes of striking it rich and well-known. Now, I believe that Paris is off the hook necessarily just because of the inheritance, if it hadn’t been for her sex tape, pompous attitude along with fine clothing and make up, accessories she would be just any other girl. Personally, I do not reckon it’s a excellent influence on women, especially young women – at all. Though I will not be one to say that I do not delight in name brand stuff and nice things, who doesn’t like, need or delight in having money? But, is this whole fan based support and attention to these types of women “it girls” moral or healthy? I get frightened because as a teenager I never had a cell phone or new clothing and certainly not any couture. Now, I see a lot of younger people, e.g. 14-15 year olds carrying an i Phone/Blackberry around with a Dolce and Gabbana purse, and then you hear them expect her dad to buy her a new car and not just any car for their sweet 16? Curious on why a guy (26 years ancient) might mention “other” women in conversation.
Pointing out that he had “fun” times while in Portland or last night he said he was at a party and there were lots of “drunken eye candy”?
Like he got online just to say hi to me, question me how my weekend was going and to let me know about the “hot girls” at the party.
We just saw one another on Thursday. Things are going slow, which is nice but it’s kind of hurtful when he talks about other women even though I know we are just flirty friends right now w/ no “relationship” status.

I’m so sick an tired of saying “hello” to girls, or “hi” and them ignoring me when I’m trying to be polite and start a conversation with them! Everyrtime i try to be nice to “new” people they “ignore” me and are really “vain” towards me, they reckon they’re better then me when I’m not even being a snob to them. Why are girls like that, women! How had is it to be nice when people are nice to you, how hard is it for them to be nice to people without having them come to them and kiss their ***! I’m tired of it, I feel like I’m talking to a brick wall.
Then i find out they’re trash talking about me behind my back when ive done nothing to them except went up to them and said hi or writing to them on facebook or myspace. Why are girls like this, I haven’t experienced that much with life, haven’t been around girls really to know whats the point of being mean?
Then i find out that they’re trying to copy my style, I end up seeing it in person and trying to get my attention, starting drama with me, a fight! I’m like.. wtf? Why are you doing this, acting so immature? You’re 26, 27, and 28 an 29 yrs ancient, is only getting older and I’m 26 soon but is trying to better my life but when i do someone has to try to drag me down, make me fall.
Then its like when I comment on their pictures, i say something nice about them, they delete my comments and only take the comments the guys write to them, thats like saying they’re “hot” or whatever, keep other girls comments they made towards them but when i say something its like.. “nope”, not uh. It isn’t okay.

It seems that (perhaps because of Feminism), white women (even very young ones) don’t like being called or referred to as “girl” in any context. In contrast, it seems that black women don’t mind in some limited contexts (e.g., a guy flirting by saying “Hey Girl, how are you doing?”). Has anyone else noticed this? If so, have you made relevant observations about Asian women or Latinas?

I myself am a 21-year-ancient female, but I’ve never called, nor had the inclination to call, nor heard any of my excellent friends call anyone “like,” either in person or online. Within the past several months, though, I’ve noticed an increasing number of female acquaintances on Facebook calling each other “like” and captioning pictures of, i.e., themselves and their roommates with phrases like “Room 202 loveee” or, i.e., of themselves and their teammates as “soccer loveee.”
First of all, is there some pop culture source (i.e. a TV show or movie) that inspired this lingo?
Secondly, why do they add so many e’s to the end of “like”? Phonetically, how would that sound if they were saying it aloud?
Thirdly, *do* they really say these things aloud?
I am just so baffled by this trend. Before this year the only people I heard call women or girls “like” were Austin Powers and the elderly (as in, “Do be a like and fetch my sweater”).
Any insight on the phenomenon would be fantastic! Thanks

What about when they just place “loveee” as a comment to a photo? Are they saying that the photo makes them pleased, so they like the photo, or are they calling the person/people in the photo “like,” or are they saying they like the person/people in the photo?
