I don’t consider it a baby/person until it’s breathing so morally I don’t reckon any more or less of her. Having 15 abortions does make me reckon she’s an idiot though.

American President, Barack Obama has announced his stimulus package. This package has 900 billion dollars to be spent on the economic reforms. While there are various different features of the stimulus package, the one that’s drawing largest attention and discussions around the world is the Scholarship for Mothers program.
Under this program, Obama has announced that every mother of the country will get ,000 just to ensure that she can go so school and continue her education. For those who’ve had no college experience so far, they can start from the scratch as the grant amount is rather magnanimous to cover most expensive and lengthy educational programs in the country.
Now, ,000 is not a small sum by any means, and when you consider the economic conditions that this money is being provided in it makes it all the more significant. So it only makes sense in thinking that the government would obviously not give it away to anyone just like that. To be eligible to apply for this grant, you have to be both, an American citizen and of legal age i.e., more than 18 years at the time of enrollment.
Once you apply, and if selected, you will be eligible to get ,000 towards the completion of your studies that is kept free from the burden of interest, tax and even repayment.

There seem to be two contradictory positions taken on here.
1) When questioned why women go to sperm banks, place the incorrect father on a birth certificate, file for no fault divorce and get child support or fail to exercise their full reproductive rights to “saying no”, contraception, the morning after pill and abortion and having the child anyway, not to mention claiming women can “have a child on their own these days”:
People here claim men do not need a father, or they have a “right to motherhood” regardless of male involvement.
But whenever I bring up consequences of not having a father on a child:
*Among long-term prison inmates, 70 percent grew up without fathers, as did 60 percent of rapists and 75 percent of adolescents charged with murder.
*They are up to 40 times more likely to experience child abuse compared with children growing up in two-parent families.
2) They claim feminism had no hand in it and opt to blame men.
They are contradictory. Which one is it?

If any of you read Slate’s “Dear Prudence” you would have read this letter :
When I married my husband a few years ago, my in-laws invited me to start calling them “Mom” and “Dad” as opposed to their given names. I was uncomfortable with the suggestion for a couple reasons—I’m not that close to them (they’ve been distant—geographically, that is—our whole courtship/marriage) and it feels odd to call them such familiar terms, also it’s a bit new to me (my parents always use first names for my grandparents, and my B-I-L, S-I-L refer to my parents by their first name). My husband and I both clarified that I was uncomfortable with the suggestion and tried to go on. Now, but, I find myself in an awkward situation when the family gets together. I am the only in-law (out of five total daughters-in-law) who does not use the “Mom” and “Dad.” I can live with that, but every time I call my M-I-L by her name, she tends to politely right me with “Mom,” even though she knows I am uncomfortable doing so. In fact the last time we were together, there was a church gathering, and after I called her by her first-name, she took me aside and told me it was inappropriate and I should either call her “Mom” or her titled church standing in front of the others. Is this battle worth fighting?
Prudie’s basic response, as well as the commentors was to humor the woman and call her “mom”. To question is one thing, but to insist that this woman is called “mom” is a small sad, I reckon. If my MIL not just questioned, but demanded that I call her mom, I’d call her crazy. What do you reckon ? What would you say if this was your MIL ? haha

There is no way in the world that I would call my MIL mom. I have a mother and I call her mom. If she kept pushing the issue I wouldn’t call her anything, ever. I have no patience for idiots like that woman.
