I went to the Gwen STefani Concert on June 19, 2007 and sat behind Michelle Pfiffer she was there with her niece and her friend (tweens), I had my 5 year ancient daughter Elizabeth with me. My daughter recognized her first and said “mom its cat woman” pretty loud Michelle Pfiffer didnt turn around but place her head down. I leaned closer and said “You look incredible, can you please give us an autohgraph or let me take a picture just you with my daughter?”, i respected her enough not to take the pic without her permission but brushed me off and had security at the end of the aisle a course i felt terrible. . My daughter recognized her could it have killed her to give us her autograph or take a picture with a 5 year ancient? I loved the show but her guard kept looking at us. .
Batman being too violent? Do you not see what is being played on tv? Ididnt you watch it when you were a kid. Plus Michelle Pfifer did a cartoon sinbad with catherine zeta jones and brad pitt . .
Plus the show hadn’t started. Why is it my childs fault for recognizing her? she is the one that makes movies and gets the $ $ $ . its not like you can make a movie and not get recognized. .

Yesterday I questioned a silly question and someone answered by saying, “Go to college and be a real woman.” I resent that… I know a few women (AND men) who haven’t gone to college, and they’re pretty successful still.

how exactly does that determine whether you are real are not, my answer is no,.
If you question me this need to send your kids to college that eveyone has is all just to keep everyone on the straight and narrow, to stop the idiots from fooling around.
You dont need to go to college unless your job requires it, and lets face it most dont, they require you to be skilled, and you dont get this from college, you get this from experience.
everyone goes on about how you need to go, but they will then realise they have a block infront of them once they get to the workplace, just because youve been to college doesnt mean you will have this so-called fantastic life, you may not even get a succesfull job because of discriminiation

Here in the States it is veteran day. So, I wanted to question if anyone has a particular favorite female veteran or, going back to ancient history, “warrior woman”. My vote goes to Clara Barton, Civil War nurse, excellent samaritan, and fascinatingly to me, Unitarian-Universalist.

This is a fantastic quote.
I would first reckon of Amelia Earhart. She is a very dynamic women well before her time.
Then I would investigate Susan Brownell Anthony (1820-1906) the Napoleon of the women’s suffrage movement, mother of the 19th Amendment, abolitionist.
Mary Elizabeth Bowser ( 1839-?) – African-American Union spy in the Confederate White House.
Margaret “Molly” Tobin Brown (1867-1932) – Titanic survivor and a woman who was determined to break the rules of “high society.”

Rear Admiral Grace Hopper, USNR (1906-1992) – Computer pioneer and the oldest officer in active duty when she retired in 1986.

I’m confused…does she like me back?

First, let me give you a small background details (I won’t release names except my own). I’m a sophomore in high school this year, and I’m starting to have feelings for this girl whom I met last year and is also in my graduating class. I’ve been wanting to tell her how I feel, but I don’t want to lose her. What I mean by THAT, has to do with my “history” with women.
Whenever I told a girl (who I liked) how I felt, it mostly finished like this: she’d reject me, and never speak to me ever again. I didn’t want that to happen with her ESPECIALLY.
Now we go on to current info! Recently, I’ve been wondering if she likes me back, because she’s acting different around me. For example, whenever I pass her in the hall, she’ll look at me long and hard (that’s what she said), and say “KURT!!!!” If she’s walking behind me, she’ll either stay behind me and say, “Yay!! The human snowplow cleared a path through the freshmen!!”, or she’ll run up, place her arm through mine, and say, “Come along, buddy. Let’s go!” In class, I’ll usually get there before she does. When she arrives, she’ll walk up to me, and gently push my chest. I usually answer by saying, “Moo.” When she gets there before me, she’ll wave to me, and say, “Kurt! You should sit by me.”
In history class, she sits in front of me. Today, she stretched her arms out, reached back, touched my face, and said, “Oh my God! Kurt, you have sideburns!” (which I do). Later on, our teacher left the class to run copies while we were assigned to read a segment of our books. During that, she leaned back to where she could see eye to eye with me, and poked my nose. Then, after biology class, she jumped out of the blue and hugged me.
I don’t want to reckon she likes me if she doesn’t, so I want to know. Otherwise, I’ll probably lose her. But, I trust her 100%.
