The Jerusalem Post is not a charity it is an online newspaper. Many of those are news and not charity. Although it is a excellent place to get the middle east news. Not like what you get in the States.
But there are excellent Charities that I am aware of two are: International Fellowship of Christians and Jews led by Rabbi Eckstein, and Jewish Voice International Ministries led by Jonathan Bernis.

No, I don’t know any of these organizations, this is a very long list. If the memorial is for some one you know make it towards their congregation or yours. So this way it is more personal and more meaningful. If you don’t want so much of a personal donation you could find one that helps children.
